Structured complex information into clear and usable layouts
Created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design decisions
Project Overview
Travel Portal is a conceptual desktop application designed to help companies manage employee travel in a centralized and efficient way. The solution focuses on simplifying travel requests, approval workflows, and access to critical destination information, while improving clarity and usability for employees and administrators.
The Challenge
Designing a centralized platform capable of handling complex approval workflows while presenting sensitive and frequently changing travel information such as COVID restrictions, visa requirements, and security protocols in a clear and user-friendly way.
Goals
Streamline employee travel requests and approval processes
Centralize destination-related information in a single platform
Support safe and informed travel decisions
Solve complex operational problems through user-centered design
Design Process
The project followed a problem-solving design approach. Research and competitive analysis were used to understand existing travel management solutions and identify gaps. Insights were translated into sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that demonstrate the evolution of the design and support clear, scalable workflows.
